Slate01. Owner and scope
Slate owns and operates the Slate app and slate-gpt.com. This policy explains how information is handled in the app and on the website. For privacy questions, contact noreply@slate-gpt.com.
02. Account and application data
Supabase handles account authentication and database storage for Slate. Slate stores its application data, including account records and AI conversations, in its Supabase database.
When you visit the website, your browser sends technical information needed to request pages and assets. This can include your IP address, the requested URL, request time, and browser or device headers. The website does not offer account registration, public posting, an AI chat form, or checkout.
03. Community content
Content you choose to share in the community can be seen by other users. Do not include passwords, payment details, or private information about other people in posts or comments.
The website displays captured app screens, rather than a live community feed. It does not accept posts, comments, or profile updates.
04. How information is used
Slate uses account information to authenticate users and provide app features. Conversation data is used to provide AI responses and train models. Sports data in the database is also used as context for responses.
Crash reports are handled by Slate team developers to investigate app problems. Slate does not use an additional analytics SDK beyond crash reporting.
05. AI conversations and training
Slate calls the OpenAI API to generate AI responses. This involves processing conversation content and relevant sports-data context with the AI provider.
Slate uses user conversations for model training and sports data from its database as context when answering. AI conversations are stored in the Supabase database.
OpenAI API processing is subject to OpenAI data controls. Slate's use of conversations for training is distinct from OpenAI's default API data-use settings. Avoid putting passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information into AI conversations.
06. Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database storage. The OpenAI API provides AI responses. Apple StoreKit handles in-app payments. AdMob serves non-personalized advertising.
Slate team developers handle crash reports. The website serves its own styles, scripts, images, and icons and uses your device's system fonts. Following an external link connects you to that destination separately.
07. Non-personalized advertising
The Slate app displays non-personalized ads through AdMob. These ads are not selected using a profile of your past behavior.
Non-personalized ads can still involve identifiers and processing for functions such as frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized does not mean that no advertising data is processed. See Google's non-personalized ads guidance.
The website itself does not run an advertising SDK or advertising pixel. Its app-ads.txt file identifies authorized advertising sellers. The promotions screenshot is not an active offer.
09. Retention and account deletion
Slate keeps account data and AI conversations until you instruct Slate to wipe your data. You can delete your account from the Settings page in the Slate app.
For help with deletion or a privacy request, email noreply@slate-gpt.com. Apple and other service providers handle their records under their applicable terms and data practices.
10. Security
No system or internet transmission is guaranteed secure. Protect your account credentials and do not send passwords or payment details in support messages.
11. Privacy requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses.
Contact noreply@slate-gpt.com with your request. Explain which account or information it concerns and the action you are requesting. You can also delete your account in the app's Settings page.
12. Age rating and younger users
Slate has a 12+ download rating. Accounts can be created without an in-app age-verification system. A download rating does not establish eligibility to gamble.
Parents or guardians can contact noreply@slate-gpt.com about a child's account, privacy, or deletion. Any gambling activity requires the applicable legal gambling age and lawful physical location.
13. Third-party destinations
App stores, gambling support services and future sportsbook destinations operate separately. Read their privacy practices and terms before sending information or acting. This website cannot control their account data or self-exclusion.
14. Updates and contact
This policy is effective October 22, 2026. Updates will be reflected on this page with the applicable effective date.
